Learning how to work with friends is a very rewarding experience. I’ve had the pleasure to work with many blogger friends but this week I collaborated in a different way. My friend Vincent from Myself Vincent started pursuing photography, I trust his vision and skill so we decided to work on two sessions together. For the first one I wanted a more editorial look, something that would inspire and that would remind me of why I love what I do! That’s why I chose the title of “Maybe she’s a Wildflower”, it reminds me of Lewis Carroll’s work in Alice in Wonderland. I wanted to set that as the tone for this shoot so with that in mind, I chose a dress from Cleobella that is very simple but beautiful. They are a brand that I have followed for a while so I’ve been very excited to feature them. Also we picked a location that would let the dress flow to give a “story telling vibe” and kept the accessories very minimal. But of course, being a field there were rattle snake sounds all around us, so that was very nerve-racking!! But I am happy to say it was all worth it.
Now, I know I haven’t done this type of photoshoot in a while but I hope you guys like it…

I do collabs with new people all the time and its exciting but every now and then its nice to go back to friends. The chemistry flows, it’s easier to plan and lets face it, it’s so much fun!
