As you have probably already noticed, I love wearing white all year-long. I think it’s a beautiful color that makes anyone feel more confident as soon as you wear it. So finding this classic high-waisted in all white was a very happy moment for me! Yes, you can think its very superficial of me to say that but I disagree. Why? Because I think what you wear is very important. Wearing the right outfit can make you feel empowered and help you reach that day’s goal or it can make you feel insecure, not good enough and like you don’t belong. But the way I see it, if you’re already set for what feels like an impossible task, I would rather not have to deal with those common insecurities on top of it, right? Plus you don’t even have to spend much to achieve it. I got this full look from both H&M and Forever21 so you already know its affordable (And no I was not paid to promote these brands). The point is it’s not hard to look presentable and in my opinion classics will always save the day.
This 60’s sporty Tee is of course a classic and I think it’s a beautiful way to step into Fall Fashion. I love its simplicity and comfort so I wanted to pair it with a bottom that was just as easy to wear. That’s when this pleated 50’s style skirt comes in. I love the natural movement of this fabric, but because of its length it’s not a problem to wear. It’s the perfect look for work, events or just a fun Saturday afternoon. I wore this to Mr. Holmes Bakehouse media preview this last week in LA, then headed to dinner with friends and this look was perfect for both!
What are your favourite classics to wear? Let me know in the comments below…
Anyone else obsessed with the sleeveless long coats? They are the perfect Fall item. So far in LA it’s not cold enough for a full coat, but I’ve definitely needed an extra layer so this style solves the problem. And its more interesting than just wearing a plain light sweater right? I have one in white, cream, grey and this black one but if you happen to see one in soft pink let me know! <3
I styled mine with a shoulder striped crop top, my suede high-waisted skirt and favorite black ankle boots. They are all affordable items from Zara, Bishop & Young and H&M, I’ve linked the looks below..
You have probably seen the silk dress in every street style photo this season. It is the most comfortable and easy way to look chic! Never thought I would be saying that, literally. Because lets face it, usually looking chic involves a lot of work but with this slip on all problems are solved. You throw it on, add accessories and maybe layer with a jacket and you’re good to go! I paired mine with a cream blazer, my Gorjana jewellery and my favorite and most comfortable ankle booties <3 But you can wear it any way you like.. 90’s mood with a plain tee underneath, with a chunky knit sweater to add more texture or on its own if Fall weather hasn’t come to your city yet. But the important thing is to try it! You will love it and want one in every color…
Being caught in between the end of Summer and beginning of Fall leaves me wearing light dresses with ankle boots, but I don’t mind it at all! I do however wish I was living in NYC to be able to wear all the fun season clothes, specially now for Fashion Week! Has anyone else been following any of the runways? I am on high just watching these first ones, can’t wait for my favorite ones to come! But for now I am wearing one of my favoite colors these days blush and light grey. Simple and casual, but also just the right combo to get me through the day.
What I wore:
Blush High Neck Bodycon Dress from Skylark | Ankle Booties from H&M
I am in love with these tones right now, they go with pretty much everything and they are both great colors to transition from day to night! So you will probably see me wear them more often in the next few weeks. Hope you liked this outfit and as always thanks for reading!
This past weekend I’ve been in and out of the hospital, haven’t been feeling so good. Buuut I have the most amazing friends who keep checking up on me and have been taking care of me so Im getting a lot better <3 However I am supposed to stay in bed for a few more days and rest so Im sorry in advance if Im not posting as much this week. I hope your guy’s week started off better than mine;) But anyways, I’ve been dying to show you this look from last week’s shoot…
I was going through my closet to find the perfect Fall Look and trying to mix it with my love for dresses. You know, something cute but weather appropriate. And last week I had picked out this gorgeous floral dress from Lucy Paris and I’ve been dying to wear it! The cut and detail of the dress has a very romantic vibe to it, you know very flirty and fun so to enhance that I decided to pair it with a piece that’s completely opposite, something that would contrast. Of course nothing does it better than a moto leather jacket, I added my black ankle boots and voila! My look is done;) Now as you know, I always go light on the accessories and only wear what I truly love. But lately I’ve been dying for The 2 Bandits collection. Their accessories have a bohemian vibe mixed with a vintage look so of course Im obsessed with them. This is the finished look, let me know what you think…
How’s your Monday?? I am starting my week full of energy and motivated to reach my goals before the year ends! I have big and exciting plans for 2016 so in honor of that I’ve decided to wear all white… a color associated with clean starts. And so I began with a little makeover to my website! I’ve been thinking about re-designing it for a while and Im very excited about how its turning out. This is just the first of many changes to come and Im so ready for it that Im practically jumping up and down of excitement for the future. Want to live your dreams? then you have to dress for it <3
And speaking of which… I want to share with you this week’s look! I am absolutely obsessed with this Lucy Paris White Eye Knit shirt/skirt. Its the perfect transition look for Fall in my lovely SoCal, where cool days are still settling and Fall is slowly moving in. Besides, who says you can only wear dark colors for Fall? It gets boring right? That’s why I enjoy switching it up a little. And to add the final touch, I went for a red lipstick. It always gives it that fierce and more confident look that every woman needs to get through the day. Try it, I know you’ll love it.
Im sending positive vibes to everyone and truly hope you have a week!
Hope you’ve had a fun weekend! I know its been a while since my last post but I’ve been traveling so much this summer that I haven’t had as much time as I’ve wanted to. But now Im back and am very excited to share some great transitional fall looks for this new season. As you know, I live in sunny Newport Beach, California and here we don’t really get a season change until December, bummer I know! But that doesn’t mean we cant adopt some of Fall’s best looks. Its all about the accessories and color palette you choose. So in the next few weeks I’ll be posting more looks on how to do just that.
For this week I want to share a day look that can never go wrong and its perfect for this first few weeks of Fall. Wether you’re going to brunch with the girls or have back to back meetings, a simple black jumpsuit will make you look stylish but comfortable all in one. And again, its all about the accessories… So when it comes to shoes, you want to pick something that pops, whether its a different color, a pattern or a strappy heel, the point is to give the look a little extra something. I went for strappy heels because I like the play with lines. For bag I chose one of my favorites, the bucket bag. Its easy to carry around and I like how the color contrasts with the black. And to finish the look I went for my eco-friendlyBamboo Lifesunglasses. I recently discovered this brand on one of my trips to Mexico and I loved it!
