Pre-Spring Look!

Who else is excited for Spring?? I am so ready to put away my winter stuff that I decided to do a Pre-Spring post. For this look I shot with a new friend photographer, her name is Jessica Vidana. We connected though Social Media (I love how that is so normal and easy to do these days) and I just loved her work! We ended up getting together in person and I’m so glad we did because besides being very talented, she’s also really sweet and easy to shoot with! So it turned out to be a very fun afternoon trying not to laugh long enough to take the photos, running away from scary pigeons at the pier and just creating beautiful content together.

And that’s the thing with blogging, I always end up connecting with other creatives out there, getting inspired by one another and it’s amazing seeing each other grow. This is one of the main reasons why I love doing what I do! Without Wander With Love I wouldn’t get the opportunity to meet all these amazing people around me, so I am always happy to share talented creatives I meet along the way in the hopes that you will be inspired too.

Now I know Spring isn’t here yet but I’m anxiously waiting for it! So on the rare days when we get warmer weather, I bring out my light dresses and enjoy my pre-Spring outfits. Plus it puts me in the mood to get inspired for the festival season! I feel like it’s just around the corner and there is so much to plan. Every year on the month of April there are so many exciting blogging events, parties, music to be enjoyed and fun road trips that I seriously cannot wait!!

But we’re still one month away so at least for now I can enjoy my little glimpses of Spring with dresses like this one. Reformation just knows how to cut a nice dress, they always work with the perfect fabrics and have them in the liveliest colors. I am forever obsessed with them them!

I also love that the cat eye sunglasses came back. I never really let this trend go but now I feel like I can wear them all the time, plus these are so affordable!! A must have for sure.

And off course my favorite accessories. If you know me, you know I love wearing dainty gold jewellery ALWAYS and FOREVER! Whether it’s a nice timeless piece of jewellery or a trendy affordable piece, I go with gold 100% of the time. I wear these with everything! I’ve linked them below…

Blush + Leather

Okay so here it is! Many of you were asking me where to find this bodysuit I posted on my Instagram a few days ago, I tagged the brand but I know it sold out on their website so I decided to link where to find it on this post. I’ve always got your back!

leather look for fall

It’s the bodysuit of my dreams! I wish I had it in every single color and fabric (not even kidding). I specially love the leather on the straps, it’s such a beautiful detail…

It’s a look that works for me when I’m out all day but can throw on a jacket around sunset for the cooler LA breeze we get and head out to my next event or even cocktail hour!

And of course you know me, 99% of the time I wear gold jewelry so I accessorized with my favorite pieces and with the black ankle boots and jacket it makes a nice contrast…

Beach Must Haves: Throws, Books, Style and More…

I’ve spent this Summer mostly at the beach! Living in Newport Beach is easy to feel like you’re in permanent vacation, so this year I decided to stay here for the Summer and enjoy my days under the sun! It’s a great way to enjoy quality time with friends and loved ones so I put together a little list of Beach must haves for you to enjoy…

6

First thing on my list having the perfect little accent throws to lay on. I love bringing around 4-5 to make the area cozy and never ever leave without my umbrella! I have been collecting these throws from several places, but my favorite Beach Throws are from Serena & Lily  &  Living Spaces . They are beautiful, soft and perfect for the beach!!

5

After my beach setting is cute and ready for the day, I take care of sun damage. Being outdoors is great! But I try keeping my face protected from the sun, so I always bring a hat with me. This is one of my favorites, it’s called  The Spencer Boat Hat from Lack Of Color . It does the job great and looks cute with pretty much anything!

7

Also I always bring a large beach bag and my favorite this year is hands down the  Jute Bag Original from The Beach People . It fits my entire life and then some more! I swear it’s the most comfortable bag to bring to the beach and I love the simple and beautiful design. Also, it was very affordable so that’s always a plus <3

2 I LIKE MY HAIR IN THIS ONE

And now let’s talk reading material! Having a book around for those days at the beach is definitely a must in my list. Whether it’s an old favorite or a new author, I always bring one with me.

º These are for the Fashion lovers:

  1. Lately I’ve been enjoying Power Your Happy by Lisa Sugar. It’s an easy and fun read that takes you through the journey POPSUGAR‘s founder. Cool right?! I personally love reading about people’s success stories, how they built their empire and made a name for themselves in the fashion industry and if this is you too, then this book is for you!
  2. Another book I’ve been into this Summer is The Cool Factor by Andrea Linett. It’s more of a Style Guide for the woman who loves mixing timeless pieces with strategic layering and seasonal accents. It’s basically your older sister giving you the ultimate Style and Beauty secrets you always wanted to learn! It’s beautifully curated and fun book to have for those lazy Summer afternoons.

º For some healthy Girl Power:

  1. There’s this Photography book that I recently discovered called Strong Is The New Pretty: A Celebration Of Girls Being Themselves. And let me tell you it’s become one of my favorites!! It portrays these beautiful, talented, strong and creative girls from all over the country showing you how being a girl is something to be proud of and something to be celebrated. I truly want to gift this book to every girlfriend I have, to my little nieces, my little sister and little brothers too! I loved Kate T. Parker’s work and I think you would too.

1 AND THIS ONE TOO BANGS

And the rest is up to you! Whether it’s spending quality time with friends and loved ones or having some quiet time to yourself, the day is sure to be enjoyed!

What I wore:

White Cotton Courier Shirt from Madewell |Seashore Bikini Bottom from Kovey |

New Look for Summer!

There’s something about Summer that makes us all want a bit of change. Sometimes the goal is a more fit body, others is to adopt a new hobby under the sun and sometimes we just want a little makeover! You see I’ve worn my hair long for almost 10 years and I thought it was about time to try something new. So last week I decided to cut half of it off and I am loving it! I feel more light and fresh, it takes me literally half the time to get ready (which I’m sure my boyfriend appreciates) and I feel like a brand new Me!

If you follow me on Instagram you might have also seen I got eyelash extensions.  They are so long and full and most importantly so convenient! Most days I just get up, put on moisturizer/sunblock and I’m ready to go!

Wander With Love Summer Dress

If any of you are looking for a new look, I would recommend taking it easy. For example, my hairstylist first cut half way to where I wanted and when we knew I would feel okay with the length, we kept cutting off more. She worked her way up slowly until we got right below the shoulders, which is the length I wanted and was so happy with it! Also I brought a ton of pictures of styles that I liked and went to someone I knew I could trust. It’s a big change for anyone but so worth the try!

Here’s what I wore:

What about you guys? Does anyone have any plans, goals or wishes for Summer that you are working on? I’d love to know!

As always thank you for reading,

Pastels + Stripes

Hello February! Finally one of my favourite months of the year is here. I am a very traditional girl when it comes to cutesy-romantic things so of course this month is much awaited!! It’s just a beautiful time to celebrate friendship and love, to be kind to people and let’s not forget always a great excuse for flowers and wine, am I right?? My girls know!

Anyways with the love theme happening this month, I was inspired by blue and pink pastel colors, so of course I incorporated it into my outfit! I am wearing brands I have never tried before and I love them both!! Let me tell you about them..

la-blogger

First is this Light Blue Suede Coat from Stylewe. A cool new (to me) online retail store that has the most amazing clothes! I swear I’m obsessed with everything they have and specially when it comes to layering. They have such interesting variety of prints, fabrics and colors! I’m just in love with their website. It seems to me like every amazing piece of clothing you drool over on Pinterest you can find here! I am not kidding you but if you don’t believe take a look yourself, I left links below so keep scrolling.

And second is this Marine Tee from Amour Vert . They are a high quality clothing brand that focuses on delivering style that goes hand in hand with sustainability, which I love!! It’s always such a joy to find brands that care about their social responsibilities, who want to help the cause instead of adding to the problem, it’s refreshing! And the fact that Amour Vert manages to do all of this and still deliver such a beautifully curated collection is truly inspiring to me! Can’t get enough of this brand and their ultra soft clothing, guys this is a must try. *I was not paid to promote these brands, it’s my honest opinion.

And of course, you can never go wrong with classics… My favorite Daniel Wellington Black Watch and my Over The Knee Jeffrey Campbell Boots. They are my best buds and I take them everywhere!

My 5 New Year’s Resolutions

Hi guys! With New Year’s Eve just a few days away I’ve been thinking of the things I want to change/work on for 2017. I think it is important to set goals for yourself and keep the list short to fully commit and actually achieving them. Some of the things on my list I have been working on since October (that’s just something I do every year, keeps me motivated). But I want to share my 5 main ones that are not as personal and I believe everyone should respond for themselves:

  1. A bad habit I’m going to break:

going-to-bed-late

2. I’m going to do better at:

creating-more-exciting-content-for-the-blog

3. A new skill I will learn:

video-editing

4. I’ll do more of this:

take-more-risks

5. I’ll do less of this:

doubt-my-self

Every year I ask myself these 5 Key Questions days before the year ends.  I believe if you master these, the core of your year will be stronger and it will be easier to tackle the rest of the things you wish to accomplish! So don’t over think it, you already know what you need to work on. Just answer these 5 easy questions for yourself and a little tip? Set your mind to accomplish No. 1 by the end of January. Why such a short time? Because this will probably be the one you don’t even want to think of, let alone start working on. Breaking a bad habit is not easy but tackle it first and the rest will be more likely to get done after this. So set a short time period to get it done, of course you can adjust depending on the difficulty of the task but you get my point!

The rest are things you can work on through out the year. Remember its a Lifestyle you are looking to create for yourself so it will take every day of the year to work on. These are thing you want in your life right?  So enjoy the process, fall in love with the results you’re getting and soon it won’t feel like an added effort.

Also for some reason I always love wearing white a few days before the year ends and few days into the new one. There’s something about this color that makes me want to be productive all day and keeps my spirits high! It’s a small, simple thing but I’ve been doing it every year since I was 16 and it’s always worked for me. So find whatever works for you and make it a tradition! For this post I am wearing this cute ruffled dress from Make Me Chic.  I love this website! They have lovely clothes at very affordable prices 🙂 Go check them out, they have beautiful pieces and it’s always great to fins new places to shop right? Let me know how you liked it!!

I really loved wearing this dress! It is true to size and so comfortable to wear. I hope you guys liked it as much as I did <3 Take a look on their website to see more of their beautiful dresses! On a more personal note, I think this year I will focus more on me. I love my life but I tend to get caught up on everyday things and get easily sidetracked, but this next year I want to change that and not feel selfish about it for once. I think it’s a healthy choice!  <3  I really hope you meet your goals too! And I’m wishing a year full of wonderful surprises for all of you, to stay motivated and have a very happy new year!!!! My Winter Go To: Sweater Dress

I am happy to finally be wearing cozy clothes very single week! Being in LA the weather had been so crazy… hot one day, rainy the next, then cold but only to go back to warm again. But it’s finally feeling like Christmas time!! So of course I’ve been living in sweater dresses almost every day now <3

I got this knit cold shoulder dress from Minusey, a website with a ‘high end fashion’ look that is really fun to wear. The dress is very chunky so it definitely keeps me warm, which I love! I will say that I wish the fabric was a bit softer but it didn’t bother me through out the day, so definitely not a deal breaker for me. Plus the design is so cute!
